Do You Know What YOUR Belief Systems Are?
How do you want to live your life? What is your dream? Ask.
Have you ever thought about your beliefs? Do you know what your belief systems are? Maybe another question is this: Do you know what BS(belief systems, but for many of us the "other" BS is pretty accureate!) runs your life?
This is an awesome opportunity to take some time and think about what you believe in and to also look at how you see things. You have a brand new slate to draw on financially. Why not add a new slate to draw on for your spirituality? Soon you will see that the two are really linked together.

Some beliefs are short term and have a low impact. That could be an opinion on who is going to win the Super Bowl or that you should always have tacos on Friday night.
What we are talking about here are beliefs that have a very strong impact on your life. This could be beliefs about your spirituality, your destiny, money, your value as a human being or how you feel about other people.
Your belief system is what drives you and those beliefs may be driven by some very powerful emotions of commitment and maybe fear.
Belief systems can be empowering or disempowering. Some beliefs can destroy you. Since we are talking about bankruptcy, some beliefs to question may be; what do you believe about bankruptcy? what types of people file for bankruptcy? what type of person does that make you? Are some of these beliefs something that you want to change?
One belief that a lot of us have is "I can't do that, or I don't know how". Then that is surely true. Whatever YOU believe is YOUR TRUTH.
"If I have the belief that I can do it,
I shall surely acquire the capacity to do it,
Even if I do not have it at the beginning"
-Mahatma Gandhi.
There is a lot of talk these days about manifesting what we want into our lives.
There are some very powerful techniques that you have heard about – heck what you are reading about here.
This is the deal though. None of this will work for you unless you first deal with your belief system.
No matter how much you try and how hard you work or how much you visualize, none of it matters if your belief system is not congruent with what you are wanting.
Your belief systems are so powerful that nothing can get past them. That’s why some people keep making tons of money, only to keep on losing it. Or others keep falling in love, only to get dumped. It has nothing to do with the money or even the person. It has to do with what they believe.
Let’s Take a Look at Some Things You Need to Know About Yourself.
Here are some very important questions – you need to know the answers to these questions before anything is going to shift in your life financially.
How do you feel about money?
How do you feel about your capacity to earn money?
Is there enough to go around?
An even better question to look at:
Do you feel you deserve to be financially abundant?
Do you believe you can change your belief system?
Are your beliefs empowering or disempowering?
How to Change Beliefs
Anthony Robbins, a peak performance speaker and author of “Awaken the Giant Within”, says that an empowering belief helps a person to reach a desired goal, while a disempowering belief hinders a person's achievement of that goal.
His book offers methods for collapsing disempowering beliefs and replacing them with alternative, empowering beliefs.
Robbins uses a "table with legs" metaphor to describe beliefs, with the tabletop representing the "belief" and the supporting legs representing the sensory data that support that belief.
By creating states of doubt about a belief, a person can begin knocking out the supports of that belief until the belief itself collapses.
Simply collapsing a disempowering belief is not enough though. A new, empowering belief must be constructed in its place in order to re-route the neural associations permanently and thus prevent the return of the disempowering belief.
So what does all of this mean to you?
Think of it this way. Let's say your belief system says that "money is the root of all evil". The first thing you want to do identify the belief.
Is it empowering or disempowering? If you feel that it is disempowering, that it doesn't serve you, you then want to "collapse" that belief.
You can do this by understanding where you got this idea about money being evil. Did you hear it in church one day and the thought stuck? Do you know someone who had money and THEY were evil and money had nothing to do with it? Did your parents believe money was evil and therefore anyone who had it must be evil too?
Now come up with some new thoughts about money that don't support it being the root of all evil.
Think of how in some situations money is used for good. Come up with enough new ideas about how people who have money can be "good" and not "evil" that you start to feel that "money is the root of all evil" is kind of ridiculous. Really feel that.
Now replace the old belief with a new belief. You are in fact collapsing the old belief with a new one.
The new belief may be "money can do wondrous things in this world, or maybe, people with money are generous." Think of ways that support this new belief.
You are now ready to move on into creating what you desire. Remember that what you can CONCEIVE and BELIEVE you can ACHIEVE!
